I've been going through a bit of an art block lately, plus I've been away for the weekend so it was about time I tried out some new techniques to warm myself up a bit. No better subject than Deadmeat again lol.

I tried to do most things on one layer, including line art, colouring and shading/details, and using a smaller canvas size for ultimate crunch. I often overwhelm myself while drawing with the sheer amount of layers I use (especially for layer effects and random motifs) and the giant size that my canvases often grow to. So I wanted to do the opposite of that. I also decided to try using layer effects on the actual layers holding the art instead of just putting effects on top of them, and that created some really fun effects. (albeit not much different to my usual stuff).

I will draw more body hair on Deadmeat again. This is a promise.
